Full-day excursion exploring Punta Pitt, one of the most exclusive sites on San Cristóbal Island, known for its importance as a seabird nesting area and its impressive volcanic formations. The tour includes an interpretive hike, snorkeling at Pitt Islet, and scenic navigation, offering a well-rounded experience in one of the least visited natural environments in the Galápagos Islands.

Departure time: 6:30 AM
Approximate return time: 5:00 PM

The experience begins in San Cristóbal with a transfer from your hotel or meeting point to the dock, where guests board the boat for navigation toward the eastern end of the island.

At Punta Pitt, guests disembark and begin a guided hike along a natural trail that crosses volcanic formations and viewpoints with open ocean views. This site is one of the few places in the archipelago where all three species of Galápagos boobies—red-footed, blue-footed, and Nazca—can be observed, along with frigatebirds and sea lions in their natural habitat.

The tour then continues to Pitt Islet, where snorkeling takes place in clear waters with a high probability of spotting sea turtles, reef sharks, sea lions, and a wide variety of tropical fish.

At the end of the tour, guests return to San Cristóbal after a day that combines nature, adventure, and unique scenery of the archipelago.
