A half-day excursion to Los Túneles, one of the most impressive sites on Isabela Island, renowned for its spectacular lava formations and the great diversity of marine life inhabiting its crystal-clear waters.

This tour combines navigation, birdwatching, hiking, and snorkeling in a unique natural environment, ideal for those who wish to discover some of the most iconic landscapes in the Galapagos.

The journey begins in Puerto Villamil with a navigation of approximately 40 minutes to Cabo Rosa.

The first stop is Roca Unión, a small rocky islet where we will take a boat tour to observe seabirds such as blue-footed boobies, Nazca boobies, frigatebirds, and pelicans.

Subsequently, we will visit Los Túneles, an extraordinary geological site formed by ancient lava flows from the Sierra Negra volcano. Over time, these formations created natural bridges, arches, tunnels, and volcanic platforms over turquoise waters, becoming one of the most iconic landscapes in the Galapagos.

During the visit, we will take a short hike of approximately 15 to 20 minutes to appreciate the volcanic formations and observe seabirds that use the area to rest and nest.

Next, we will head to El Finado, a protected area surrounded by mangroves where we will go snorkeling. In its waters, it is possible to observe sea turtles, reef sharks, seahorses, rays, tropical fish, and a wide variety of marine life characteristic of the Galapagos.

Once the activities are finished, we will begin the return trip to Puerto Villamil.
