A full-day excursion to Pinzón Island, one of the best snorkeling sites in the Galapagos, ideal for observing a wide variety of marine life in crystal-clear waters.
This tour combines navigation, marine wildlife observation, and snorkeling activities in a privileged natural setting, offering an unforgettable experience for those wishing to discover the underwater richness of the archipelago.
- Departure Time: 07:30
- Approximate Return Time: 16:00
The tour begins at the main pier in Puerto Ayora, where we will board a boat bound for Pinzón Island, located west of Santa Cruz Island.
During the trip, it is common to spot dolphins, seabirds, and other species that inhabit the archipelago’s waters. As we approach the island, the landscape offers stunning views of volcanic formations and the Pacific Ocean.
Upon arriving at Pinzón, we will snorkel at one of the most prominent sites in the Galapagos for marine life observation. In these waters, you can find sea turtles, manta rays, reef sharks, starfish, and a wide variety of colorful tropical fish.
Afterward, we will visit “Roca Sin Nombre” (Nameless Rock), a small islet surrounded by abundant marine life, where we will continue exploring and enjoying the natural environment.
Finally, we will visit a beautiful beach on Santa Cruz Island, selected by our naturalist guide based on weather conditions and tide status. This will be the perfect place to relax, walk along the coast, and enjoy the crystal-clear waters before returning.
Once the activities are finished, we will begin the return trip to Puerto Ayora.
