Full-day excursion on Isabela Island that combines history, hiking, fauna observation, and snorkeling, ideal for those who wish to explore one of the island’s most emblematic historical sites and complement the experience with marine life in crystal-clear waters.

The tour starts from Puerto Villamil with hotel or meeting point pick-up and transfer to the Wall of Tears trail, located 5 km west of the town. During the journey, an interpretive walk or bicycle tour is conducted, depending on the chosen modality, crossing natural landscapes and points of interest until reaching the Wall of Tears, a historical site built between 1946 and 1959 by prisoners of the former penal colony. Here you can learn its history, observe the stone structure, and ascend to the viewpoints to enjoy panoramic views of the Isabela landscape.

Subsequently, the tour continues with a transfer to the dock to board a boat heading to Las Tintoreras Islet, located a few minutes from Puerto Villamil. In Tintoreras, a walk is taken along volcanic lava trails, where it is possible to observe white-tip reef sharks resting in natural crevices, in addition to Galápagos penguins, sea turtles, manta rays, sea lions, and marine iguanas in reproduction areas.

The experience includes time for snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, allowing for close observation of the site’s marine biodiversity.

Upon completion, the tour returns to Puerto Villamil, completing a journey that combines history, adventure, and nature.
