A full-day excursion that combines navigation, hiking, snorkeling, and marine wildlife observation at some of the most iconic sites on Floreana Island.
This tour is ideal for travelers who want to discover unique landscapes, enjoy white-sand beaches, and explore the extraordinary biodiversity that defines the Galapagos.
- Departure Time: 08:00
- Approximate Return Time: 15:30
The tour departs from Puerto Velasco Ibarra, where we will board the boat heading toward Punta Cormorán, one of the most important visitor sites on Floreana Island.
During the hike, we will observe the coastal lagoon that hosts various bird species, including flamingos, and enjoy the stunning natural scenery that characterizes this protected area.
Afterward, we will visit “Las Cuevas” (The Caves), a coastal area formed by ancient volcanic structures shaped by the action of the sea. This site offers spectacular ocean views and is an excellent place to appreciate the unique geology of the archipelago.
We will continue toward Enderby Islet, an ideal spot for snorkeling and observing the abundant marine life that inhabits its crystal-clear waters. During the activity, it is possible to encounter sea turtles, tropical fish, rays, starfish, and other species characteristic of the Galapagos.
Throughout the trip, we will also be able to spot seabirds such as boobies, frigatebirds, and pelicans that use these islets for resting and feeding.
Once the activities are finished, we will begin the return trip to Puerto Velasco Ibarra.
